The cable itself appears to be of high quality, and delivers a clear signal from my DVD player to my HDTV.     It's a cable. Believe me, you get the same cable for $20 or $200, so long as it meets specs. I've had this one for two years, and it's worked just perfectly. I would have been rather amazed if it hadn't.

    I almost purchased a Monster HDMI cable from Circuit City for almost five times as much, but decided to use buy.com after reading some of the reviews here. I'm glad that I did, I saved almost $100 dollars, got a cable with a lifetime warranty, and am extremely pleased with the picture quality.

    Why spend $100 at a big box store for an HDMI cable when you can get the same quality and performance for one-fifth the price? An HDMI cable is just transmitting ones and zeros. It doesn't require heavy shielding, gold tips, or any other nonsense that some brands would have you believe. I have these cables connected from my Direct TV HD DVR to a JVC 40" LCD HDTV, as well as from a Samsung DVD player/recorder to the tv. The picture quality is fantastic. I highly recommend this product.
