    I wanted to position my keyboard a little farther away from my computer and this extension cord was the perfect solution. I couldn't tell from the description whether it would be backward compatible with USB 1.0 ports, so I'm happy to report that it is.

    Great value, great product. Extensions can be a problem if the connectors aren't tight enough or are too loose; or if wire is cheap the signal won't "make it" all the way to the thing it's plugged into. This one works great on both counts.
