This works exactly as you would expect it to. It fits easily in my briefcase and is perfect for travel. The rotating plug feature is an absolute necessity in many situations. Some say it is larger than they expected, but given the number of outlets, it could not be much smaller. In fact, it is not much larger than the single outlet protector that I own. I got this as a 2nd surge protector for a laptop that is always being moved back and forth between the home office and living room. this is nice that it has the extra outlets as well as the usb connections. its a little larger than my other belkin travel surge protector due to the extra outlets. but still small enough to fit into a laptop carrying case if needed. The USB ports are great. I've charged cell phones, bluetooth stereo headphone, mp3 player, and a portable harddrive. The Belkin charged every device in the maker's recommended charging time. This is a huge convenience for me since I don't need to have to bring 4 chargers when I travel. My daughter even used an USB light as a night light in the hotel room.
Versatile and functional.

We just recently purchased a new Lap Top Computer. When I seen the add for the small surge protector, I thought it would be great to have a one to take with us when we are out of town. It fits in the case with the Lap Top and the plug is very convienent because it turns around to fit a socket with other cords pluged into it. I found that I use it at home now when I am charging the computer. I have always found that Belkin products were good quality. I have not used the USB ports yet, but it will be good for someone who has a camera that charges on USB. I recommend this product and will probably purchase others for gifts for our friends. Aside from being a little larger than I expected, I have no complaints about this device. When traveling with an increasing amount of electronic devices, it's very handy to be able to turn one 120VAC outlet into a charging center with 3 AC outlets and 2 USB ports. The plug on this device will also rotate 90 degrees which may come in very handy when trying to plug it into an AC outlet in a desk lamp commonly found in hotel rooms. Another added bonus is the ability to charge Motorola phones like the Razr which usually require a Motorola-branded charger. Was this review helpful?

Purchased to use at my TV area, which includes my son's PS3. One thing I wanted to do was to charge the PS3 handsets, since they won't recharge unless the PS3 is on. This Belkin mini surge supressor was everything I was looking for to use in my office. With it I can plug in my computer, stereo, and TV into one outlet, making space an issue of the past (not to mention the perks of the sleek look and USB ports).

So far this product seems to be a great solution to a problem of too few outlets and not enough space to hide power wires. As far as the protection from electrical gremlins, I can only add that my downstream delicate electronic devices have survived several power outages without harm. The brief manual needs to mention how the plug is aligned and no mention is made of the included USB to mini-usb cable. Was this review helpful?

It's a good product but larger then I had expected. I was looking for a small travel size surge protector for my laptop. I have seen much smaller versions and I had assumed it would be a comparible but rather it's size is more comparible to a regular 3 outlet surge protector sans the cord. The USB ports are very handy and I find I use that feature more then I use it as a travel surge protector. It seems well built and has a nice swivel in the plug so you can change the orientaion (either vertically or horizontilly) depending on the wall outlet. Over all a good product and does what it's supposed to but due to it's size I can't give it more then a 3 out of a 5 over all since compactness is key to traveling with it. Was this review helpful?

works great and shipped fast. the same day we received it, we had to use it when our large supressor for the computer quit. The extra outlets were put to use and being able to turn the outlets to fit into a small space was a plus. The large supressor has been replaced and this small one is with the laptop. For the price, and with the reliability of Belkin, why wouldn't someone buy this to protect their investment? Have not had anything happen for which it was needed, but with the price of a laptop, what it would cost to repair or replace it, plus the assurance of a lifetime replacement guarantee and $75,000 protection should it not do the job, it would be foolish not to have this product!
