Pure AV's Phase 4 Pure Filter technology isolates and eliminates AC line "noise" to provide you with clearer sound and purer pictures. To protect against damage caused by power lulls or surges, the AVU1500's advanced Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) helps to maintain a constant voltage by increasing low voltage and decreasing high voltage without the aid of the battery. Overall, the AVU1500 offers 8,000 Joules of surge protection and provides uninterrupted back-up power to DVRs, Media Center PCs, or any other devices for which you want to preserve system settings.
If a blackout hits, the system's unique IR Blaster allows projectors or projection TVs to cool their lamps, preventing damage from excessive heat before shutting down, while its SmartStage Shutdown Technology shuts down your equipment in stages, prolonging battery life and reserving power for the most critical devices.
