Belkin 2-Port Reverse KVM Switch - F1D201

I have a computer room/lab and an office in my house. I already had a Belkin OmniCube 4 port switch for my machines. I have a console in the office (to prevent the droning sound of computers all day long) for primary, remote use and I have a console in the computer room for local usage, like scanning images, installing SW, etc. On Belkin's website, it states clearly "The Belkin OmniView™ 2-port Reverse KVM Switch lets two users share one PC or KVM switch seamlessly." However, it didn't work "seamlessly." It didn't work at all. I called their Technical Support department and the technician said that the configuration I was attempting would NOT work. BTW, their voicejail system is lousy also. There are a million numeric prompts, i.e. "Press 1 if. . ." and after you have gone through all that to select your precise product, the technician answers the phone "What product are you calling about sir?" In all fairness, the OmniCube 4 port is a very nice product. Switching can be done manually or via a key sequence, e.g. [Scroll Lock][Scroll Lock] (1-4) to select the port. Also, there is a product they are going to release called the Matrix which has dual console and 8 ports built in. However, that product is MSRP $799. That's a bit pricey for a few switches.
