 Editor's Note
An updating and re-imagining of the classic 1970s sci-fi television show, BATTLESTAR GALACTICA combines elements of STAR TREK, STAR WARS, and THE TERMINATOR. Human beings built the android Cylons to work as servants for them, only to have the robots rebel and disappear into space. A generation later, however, the Cylons returned to destroy their former masters, and succeeded in eliminating the 12 worlds that mankind inhabited. Luckily, one group of people has managed to escape the genocide, lead by Commander William Adama (Edward James Olmos), on board the massive space ship called Battlestar Galactica. But the struggle isn't over, as the ruthless Cylons continue to pursue the ship and the last surviving members of the human race. This vision of BATTLESTAR GALACTICA features a darker tone and CGI special effects, and shares with other science fiction sagas a warning about the misuse of advanced technology.

5 of 5 The Best Series EVER!!!! Monday, May 28, 2007 tweakreality@yahoo.com from Pensacola, FL
Battlestar Galactica is, in my opinion, the best sci-fi series ever. Not only does it have hot chics and cool special effects...the story line simply moves me like no other series I've watched...every episode either has me afraid too see what happens next or on the edge of my seat rooting for Starbuck to destroy those Cylons Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Best Show on TV Monday, April 16, 2007 A Viewer from Omaha, NE
This is by far the best show on telivision. Sci Fan and space opera fans will love it. Season 1 includes the 4-hour mini series (so no need to buy it serparately). The miniseries was the first 4 episodes of the show. Season two is sold in two parts (season 2.0 and season 2.5). It's a great show with solid acting, a well crafted script, great character interactions and regular cliffhangers (from episode to episode). Battlestar is really a show about humanity...civil rights, terrorism, survival, politics, government, morality, and you name it! Was this review helpful?
