My wife got me this for Christmas this several years ago after I begged and begged for it... and love it. If you like Egg McMuffins, this is right up your alley. Your homemade version will be miles better than McDonalds. I used to buy English Muffins and freeze them so they would always be on hand, but got tired of that. My new version is wheat bread, american cheese, finally topped with poached egg - open faced. Probably about 90% of use goes to just making toast. The egg poacher works wonderfully. Eventually you'll get the amount of water you add to make the yoke just the way you like it. The biggest negative of this is the cheap quality of the egg poacher pan. The teflon has been flaking off and the egg sticks pretty bad. Otherwise the cleanup is quick and it's nice to have a hot egg on toast w/out using the stove. If you don't like the white toaster, search around on Amzn and you'll find the black model.
