3 of 5 Decent but not the best player Friday, February 22, 2008 A Customer from Atlanta, GA
I bought this turntable to replace my parents' old one that finally crapped out. I don't listen to records that much, so I wanted an inexpensive but decent turntable. I think this one fits the bill. It's a bit flimsy and seems very breakable, and the stylus also skips pretty easily. But all in all, it gets the job done, and for $60-70, it's a pretty great deal. Recommended, but not for serious record listeners or audiophiles. Was this review helpful?
1 of 5 not worth it Saturday, February 16, 2008 Nail Sakmari from Granite, OK.
I hooked up and used the turntable as soon as I received it for about an hour, then a week later when I tried to use it the motor speed was off and the record played slow. Extremely dissappointed, I know you get what you pay for, but for my money, I expected to get more than one hour of usage. Was this review helpful?

This is a nice, inexpensive piece of equipment. The sound quality is not stellar (when compared to today's standards), but hey it's a turntable. The turntable comes with a cartridge and a built in preamp - which is sweet, because most new amps don't require that you buy a separate preamp for your turntable. It looks good, sounds good, and seems sturdy enough. It also comes with free shipping. Get some use out of your old records - I recently bought a Sony one first - for about the same price. It was a piece of crap. For less than 100 bucks, this is a good buy. Was this review helpful?
