5 of 5 Good solid case - DOES FIT COOLERMASTER V8 Friday, May 15, 2009
BC from Little Rock, AR

Is a good case...no problems yet. Plenty of space and the cable management is very nice too.. Obviously its a dust magnet, but thats expected with 6 case fans running (7 optional). I never used the factory installed fans, but instead bought low rpm fans. Still dusty, but runs quiet and cool with all fans at 800 rpm. For those that are curious, the COOLER MASTER V8 cpu cooler does fit perfectly in the case, without removal of the V8 casing, however it does obstruct the side fan. This too can be over come by cutting a corner off a fan (easily done with sissors on an Arctic Cooling Fan). I don't use a side fan myself. This seems to be the only ANTEC case that can fit the V8 with out any mods.

5 of 5 As Expected Saturday, April 04, 2009
A Customer from St Louis, MO
I already had an Antec p160w and it has been an excellent case. The ANTEC TWELVE HUNDRED was just as impressive. There is a bit more space in this case and the cable routing is nothing short of awesome. All of the cables are run behind the mother board mounting surface. With some work they are flat enough to get right side back on and the result is sharp. The air flow in this case is excellent between all of the fans, and the lack of cables over the motherboard. My EVGA GTX 260 video card had plenty of space front to back. The video card is mounted on a ASUS P6T6 WS REVOLUTION MOBO. It might have been a little tighter fit if the hard drive cage, which fits three drives, was moved down a little lower. The fantastic thing is that you can move this cage around and it creates an air tunnel for your drives. I lined mine up with the ZALMAN CNPS9700LED CPU cooler. This formed a strait line of air flow from the front fan to the rear case fans. I made sure that the fans exhausted top and back, and drew in from the front and side. There are three small fan controller knobs, one for each fan in the front, you can probably not see them in the picture of the case front. There is also a set of fan adjustments for the rear fans and top fan. These controls are on the back. Antec sent extra fans, as some fans that escaped QA had issues at lower settings. Device tray on top is handy. Make sure you power supply has long cables, mine just made it. The PSU cables need to be a little longer with the bottom mount PSU and running the wires behind the mobo mount surface. You can always get some extention cables if needed, and reroute the wires after the initial build. My PSU had no cable problems. PC Power & Cooling PPCT860 860W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI PSU.

5 of 5 Awesomeness!!!!! Sunday, February 08, 2009
A Customer from Manhattan, KS
It's a freakin' awesome case with lots of room to work on the inside and the fans are unbelievably quiet!!! Overheating is not a concern I have with this case. The blue led fans are a nice touch and it's always handy to have some extra fan bays for later. Had some difficulty getting the solid panel back on after running cables through for management. Overall it's a great case haven't had any problems! Thanks Antec!!!

5 of 5 OMG Sunday, October 19, 2008
S.E.R. from Austin, Texas
This case is huge, beats my old case by a longshot. Fits two 8800GTX's (which are enormus) with ease. Everything stays cool with the 6 case fans (I added one more to make a total of 7).

5 of 5 Outstanding case Monday, October 13, 2008
drewster from Bronx, NY
I have it's little brother the Antec 900. I have been putting computers together for over 16yrs, and this is one of the best cases I had owned, and I have owned alot. More room, more fans...made it very easy to install motherboard and harddrives. Only thing I dont like as far as the 4 for ease of use was how you have to remove the fan to install additional drives. But that's just me being lazy. Also keeps me cool. AMD Q9950, 8gig ram, vista 64bit ultimate, 750 and 500 gig seagate HDD's. Asus M3A79-T, LG Blu-ray/hddvd bluray/dvd burner, ultra 1000w PSU, 2 x diamond radeon 3870. Buy this case. You wont regret it

This is with out a dought the coolest monster case yet. With 6 three way adjustable fans (leds) and options for two more this is one cool quiet case. With this many fans you don't need to keep them all on high so it stays nice and quiet. The twelve drive bays are also a nice touch as well. Keep in mind this is a full tower and if you are building a Gamer PC this is what you need to keep it all cool. I also like the power supply at the bottom of the case. I am running an intel 9550 CPU, 3 500gb HDs, 4gb (2x2) of OCZ DDR3 1600Mhz ram, a Gforce 280 video card on a EVGA 790i Motherboard, plus a 900 watt PS and it stays cool. I hope this helps someone. Nice touch Antec ! "Laconga"

5 of 5 Absolutely Awesome Gaming Case! Tuesday, October 07, 2008
ZDarryl from Denver, CO
This case is awesome! It has so much room and the cable management system makes it so easy to have a non-messy installation. I love the cut-outs in the motherboard tray for routing wires behind the motherboard. I also love having the PSU on the bottom of the case, it is easier to route the cables when you can see what you are doing, instead of having to turn the case upside down to see the PSU like in most cases. Great features of this case are: - Removable 3.5" drive bays with 120mm fans(w/ cleanable filters) on each with a speed control knob on the outside for easy adjustment. - Huge 200mm top vent fan - 2 rear 120mm fans - Options for side fan as well as additional internal 120mm fan - Speed controls for rear and top fans on the back of the case. - Can turn off top fan LEDs - Comes with 5 - 120mm 3 adjustable speed fans and 1 - 200mm adjustable speed fan. - Tons of room to work. - Extremely quiet case with extremely awesome airflow! - No Modding is necessary to manage cables (unlike the 900 case which requires a lot of modding) It was so easy to install my system into this case and make it completely clutter free without any effort. You will love this case! Wait for a great deal on this case. I paid only $140 shipped from Buy.com on 9/22/08. - Interior painted black(Looks awesome!)

5 of 5 This box is HUGE! Wednesday, October 01, 2008
Ransx77 from Easton, Pa.
Just finished building a machine using an Antec nine hundred, now I want to build a twelve hundred. $50 less at buy.com than at the Egg, and came with free shipping, it was a no brainer. My ONLY complaint is that Antec should include the window side fan instead of making us buy that seperately. But I knew that going in, doesn't change anything about what a great box this is. Comes with 6 fans, you can add another on the window. This box breathes!!!!! Lot's of build room inside, including ability to hide cables between the non-window side wall and the side cover. Make sure to use a direct power source to the 200mm fan, it needs more juice than a mobo connection can provide.

5 of 5 awesome in every way... but it's not tool-less Sunday, August 10, 2008
gjpimp from Lakeland, Florida
PROS: I switched to this from a Raidmax Smilodon mid tower, and dropped 12 C on my graphics card (heat-plagued Asus EAH3870 TOP, down to 117 C from 127 C). While my Tuniq CPU heatsink still prohibits side fans as it did in my Raidmax case, the internal 120mm VGA fan makes all the difference. I also dropped 5 C on my Phenom 9850 @ 2.875 GHz. There is plenty room between adjacent HDD slots for decent airflow, with a fan in front of each cage making great use of this tunnel. This case has excellent cable management: you can route all the wires between the mobo tray and right side panel and send them back through strategically-placed slots right where you need them, leaving the slack in the side panel abyss. No more will your PC be a nest of wires where it matters. Like everyone says, the fans are quiet, although high is just a tad loud for me... I'm keeping mine at medium for now. It has rubber power supply feet to absorb vibration. There are absolutely no sharp edges and no crevices where dropped screws can hide. .............................. CONS: Do not purchase this case if you're afraid of screwdrivers or thumbscrews... nothing is snap-in in it. Each side panel has two thumbscrews, each drive cage has eight thumbscrews, and each drive has four normal screws. If you need to pull your drives out on a regular basis, this is not the case for you. The drives cannot be removed without pulling out the cages they are mounted in. Also, be aware that if you use all 3 front 120mm fans and cages and plan to clean the filters regularly, there's 28 thumbscrews to deal with. The fan filters are more rather screens than filters... all in the name of airflow, I suppose. The pictures in the manual are too dark to see much of anything, not that anyone needs instructions. The external 3.5"" adapter and faceplate took a little trial and error to figure out, but they work. Be mindful of your screwdriver... the inside is black and likes to scratch. The front audio jacks are unmarked, you'll have to remember which is which. Nothing serious. .................................................................................................................. OTHER THOUGHTS: It took me around 2.5 hours to move everything into this case, after all my cable management trial and error. Only my 4-pin power connector was too short to go behind the tray, everything else was easily long enough. Once this case is loaded up, the rubber feet will make it difficult to slide on carpet. This case is just wide enough to prevent me from pushing my chair under my desk... make sure you have room wherever you plan on keeping your machine. Keep in mind if you plan on using many hard drives, the internal VGA fan cannot be mounted on a cage that has drives in it.
