5 of 5 It's a case. It does it's job and does it well. Thursday, May 28, 2009
    Catamount from Charlotte, NC

There usually isn't much to say for a computer case, but this one is really quite exceptional. For a mid tower, it's very roomy. My Radeon HD 4870 fits fine, even with a hard drive in front of it. Ease of access is also a big feature here. The modular HDD bays are a real nice way. It cools very well, knocking off about 4C on my CPU vs my last, very lackluster case, and and about the same amount off my GPU's idle temperature with an added door fan. The fans are fairly quiet, even on medium, and are completely silent on low. Each fan has an independent hardware speed adjuster. The top mounted buttons and USB/Firewire ports are nice. The case also has very solid construction. The only possible cons are the mediocre wire management (more my fault than the case's; I don't have a modular PSU) and the lack of a provided side panel fan. I mean, c'mon, $100 for this case and Antec couldn't give me 5 fans instead of 4? It would have saved my some extra hassle. All in all, there is very little to complain about with this case.

5 of 5 The Best Case period... Tuesday, May 05, 2009
    AcmyGrows from Colorado Springs, CO
This is my fourth one - and I just haven't found a better replacement... and I am not fond of repeating anything but shopping around there is still nothing comparable to the ANTEC NINE HUNDRED chase's cool simplicity and styling.

5 of 5 Best in class Monday, March 16, 2009
    Delta301 from Memphis, TN
I am a 30-year systems builder and have tried many gaming cases. I have spent a lot more money but never had a better case. It looks great, cools better than some water cooled systems I have built and, yes, it has case holes for water cooling. I would have preferred fans that are controlled by the motherboard, but all fans set to medium speed works well and is quiet enough. At high speed the fans are too noisy for office environment, but not if cranking up the gaming sounds. I can't wait to try the Twelve Hundred case; it's on its way. Buy.com had speedy delivery as usual.

5 of 5 ANTEC NINE HUNDERED CHASE MID TOWER Friday, March 13, 2009
A Customer from San Jose, Ca
When it came in, the box on the bottom was torn open. But then again it was perfectly in good condition. It had foam wrapping around it so it did not really mattered to me. I setup my chase with my 600W Thermaltake psu. Took my 8800GT XfX ALhpa dog great even though its like a beast. It still have at least 4inch of space left after I inserted the video card. Everything fit perfectly my M3a47 Pro with phenom x4 9950. Had enough fans to keep my system cool. 200MM fan on top is brittle can be easily broken but its a hassle to replace for $20. Overall I love this case.

    5 of 5 awesome Case Saturday, February 14, 2009
    A Customer from fairfax, VA
by far the best case I have ever owned , especially for the money. The case makes me cold just looking at it. Contrary to belief w/all the huge cooling fans it has. It isnt loud at all. Quick install of everything, there is a fan mount on the hdd cage, you need to remove it for installing new vid card in pci slot makes it a bit too tight , besides you have a monster fan in the front of hdd cage. Only let down is that they didnt put any status connectors on theyre case fans for fan controller but the manual switches are almost useless since you must take off covers to change speeds. I just put em on medium and let er eat. Fantastic case though, all 5's I would buy it next pc I build too.

5 of 5 A great choice for any build Monday, January 05, 2009
    Nick K from Glendale, AZ
Pro: Amazing airflow, right out of the box. I, however, chose to install the optional fans, and now I could use this thing as a fridge. The case design is also attractive, though I personally think LEDs and windows are tacky. I love how the USB/audio jacks are on the top of the PC. Very good positioning if your tower is under your desk. This case is also very spacious and empty, which I like. Cons: No removable motherboard tray. Though, there usually isn't for a case this price. It doesn't matter too much though, as the case is very roomy and you can upgrade/swap out parts without removing the motherboard. I can also see cable management as an issue people with more components might encounter. I had no problems wrapping up unused slack together and throwing them in an empty drive bay, but some may not have room for that. Other than the 2 things I listed, everything is great. A very spacious case with all the cooling you could hope for and a fashionable appearance. I can only think of a couple of cases I was more pleased with, but they were both a lot more expensive. Also, buy.com was a pleasure to work with for my first transaction.

    5 of 5 The Bomb Wednesday, November 19, 2008
Bill R from New Bern North Carolina
I build computers for stress relief. This case was by far one of the most easy and impressive case I have ever used I was a little worried about the power supply being on the bottom. but after paring it with a antec power supply I was amazed at how quiet it was I added two blue 120mm fans and it looks sharp, as far as fan noise goes I set my fans to medium and could hardly hear them. Friends see it and it becomes a discussion item. the only drawback and I'm just being picky is the 200 topfan could have been blue as well just being picky!

    5 of 5 thousands sold for a reason Saturday, October 18, 2008
    rbgo7855 from Owasso, Ok
This is the first case I bought just to mod. With an outstanding configuration for any senerio, wire managment options are a premium side effect of having such a wonderful case. As an AMD fan, I haven't found anything that will not fit or slow this beast down. Buy.com also has a new fan. Although I paid for expedited shipping, (nearly $5) it still took 17 hours for FedEx to ring the doorbell. Now if I could get the same price on a replacement, I have several people wanting this same build.

    5 of 5 Cool Saturday, October 18, 2008
    Compdoc4u from Modesto, California
I have built (4) systems with this case. It is by far one of the coolest for an air ventilated case. The large fan on the top of the case removes almost all heat generated by the computer components(heat rises). The other three just keep the air in case cool by drawing in cool air from outside the case. Plenty of room for just about anything you would like to add to a computer.(Raid array, multiple video cards, or liquid cooling system.) It is not the smallest case but is by far one of the coolest and most adaptable.

    5 of 5 Fantastic case Friday, October 17, 2008
Ronald N Acabbo from West Haven ,CT
This has got to be the number one selling case this year. Everyone I know has it and has nothing but praise for it. I want to tell you my story. I ordered this case from Buy.com at a very low price and 36 hours later it was at my front door. I was in shock. Hats off to Buy.com and Fed-Ex for this kind of service. I will continue shopping with Buy.com for my future computer products. I hope they keep Fed-Ex as their shipper, what a great combination.

5 of 5 Incredible case and priced righ Wednesday, October 15, 2008
    Dave from Gainesville, GA
I have built many PCs over the last 20 years and this is by far the best case I have used to date. There are 4 fans included by default and 3 of them are 120mm and 1 is 200mm. Due to their size and 3 speed settings, you can still get tons of airflow and cooling without a lot of noise. GeForce GTX260 video card fits tightly but not a problem since the case has a lot of flexibility.

5 of 5 Excellent item and delivery Monday, October 13, 2008
    A Customer from Norman, Oklahoma
I ordered this item from Buy.com and it was delivered to my front door within three days! The case is wonderful. The size and ease of use in building my new computer has been great. The blue color delivered from the fans is very good. The amount of air blown through this case is unbelievable. The price of the unit and the delivery beat every other online company. I am VERY happy with the purchase and the company.

5 of 5 Great Cooling, Great Looks, Great Price! Wednesday, October 08, 2008
    A Customer from VA
This case has many options for fans. It actually can with 6 120mm fans and the top 200m fan! Antec stated the reason is because they had a large batch of defective fans (where the low speed doesn't work properly) and rather than searching every case and testing the fans, just are just including all new fans! That's $40 value for free, and they all have the blue LEDs! With 5 fans running plus PSU and GPU fans, it's not silent, but that is expected with so many fans! Also love the look of the case, ton's of space for CPU cooler and my large Radeon 4870 GPU. Buy.com was the best price with free shipping. Took about a week to get in hand. I would recommend this case to anyone looking to custom build a computer, you love it!

5 of 5 Nice bright case Saturday, September 27, 2008
    rbandit from Virginia Beach
Well lets see first off Buy.com rocks. They sent this case to me soo fast. Also Antec sent 3 extra fans too. This is a silent case. You cannot hear it and it cools great. I bought this after my friend told me he had one and like it a lot. Antec built a nice case. I do have a couple of drawbacks on it though, for a midtower case this thing is huge. If you have a power supply with short wires it might be a light tight for you. Also the LEDS are BRIGHT. Light up my whole apartment with them. My computer runs COOl, very cool. I love this case. Price on buy.com is the best anywhere I could find.

    5 of 5 rockin Saturday, September 27, 2008
    Jerichow from Farmington, MN
I love this case, it's fairly roomy, has killer airflow, Antec included an extra set of 3 tri-cool fans for free, it's black and the LEDs aren't too bright... what isn't there to love about this? This is the best air-cooled case I ever worked with and won't switch out until I go liquid cooing, and if I do, it'll be the NZXT Temest with the same exact design fit for liquid cooling.

5 of 5 Simply the Best Wednesday, September 24, 2008
    Robert from Abingdon VA
Got my Antec 900 quickly from Buy.com, had no problem installing my puter parts into case, inside the box were 3 extra fans with a note from Antec that after production they realized that the low setting on the fans in the case did not work so they included 3 more fans to replace them, how cool. After firing up the puter I noticed that my puter operating temp was about 7 degrees cooler and I had a puter that looked awesome. This is a no brainer, buy it, my E6600 conroe runs at 26c idle and 38c load with tuniq (lots of room for it in this case), my Geforce 8600gt runs at 46c idle and 52c load, you gotta buy this case!

    A Customer from Harvest, ALabama
This is the first case I bought for its cooling. My temps have dropped with the fans at the slowest speeds. My Sapphire 4750 GPU temps have dropped from About 60 C to 38 C. Plenty of room great looking case.

5 of 5 shipped so fast... Thursday, September 11, 2008
    Wylde Bobb from Mancos, CO
That I got whiplash turning from my monitor to the door, lol. Seriously though, my case got to me incredibly fast. Not only did they beat newegg's price for this item, they smoked newegg's shipping. While the speed of the shipping was great, I was a bit dismayed to find the box half open due to improper taping. Still, this can be forgiven seeing as to how it arrived in perfect condition. Again, I was very impressed with the shipping speed.

5 of 5 The Best Computer Case Period Saturday, September 06, 2008
    Robert from Abingdon VA
Received my Antec 900 Computer Case today from Buy.Com via FedEx (Day Early!!) This case is the best ever, got my fans on high and can barely hear them. My cpu temps are 29c idle and 39 load. My evga geforce 8600gt is running at 49c-52c and my HDD is at 22c-23c. Looks beautiful and was a breeze setting up. My only regret is that the Antec 900 was not very first computer case, I would have saved myself alot of hassle and money. This whole experience with Buy.com and FedEx was a winner.

    5 of 5 Antec 900 Fantastic Case!!! Sunday, July 13, 2008
    Brett Willis from Chandler AZ
I selected this case based on its many features, primarily the cooling fan configurations. Lots of cooling fans! The Fans, easy configuration features and overall good looks were high points. Along with great airflow they are also much more quiet than I expected. I was very impressed with how well it was constructed and easy to work on and install parts. Not a single bad thing to say about it.

    Odius from silsbee, tx
This is by far one of the Best online purchases I've ever made. Shipping was by FedEx...(They're the best too)...What else can I say..Best Case made...Best online retailer...Best shipping company...and Best Price Bar None...and Antec put three extra 120mm fans in the box because a Few people reported problems with Some of the fans that came installed in the case...that says a lot for Antec..I can't really review the case just yet...I just took it out of the box to admire if for a bit...I doubt that I will be disappointed...But I can't give Buy.com high enough marks for the Great Deal and excellent choice in shipping companies....dam..I should get paid for this endorsement...

    4 of 5 Nice Case Monday, July 07, 2008
    lpBuy from Maryland
Good Airflow ...Lots of Fans. Like the transparent window at the side (get a good CPU fan with blue LED!) Wires need to be longer to reach front to back. Also if you need some more free space get a modular power supply. This one has the PSU at the bottom. Good Construction and Easy To Open and Close!!! If the Top fan (200mm) was any bigger it can cool your workspace for this hot summer (lol) Best value for the price! Buy.com had the best deal for this case ...when packaged it was 24 lbs and it was free shipping (well FedEx ...thats a whole different story!)

5 of 5 Performance, Beauty, Quality through the roof Wednesday, June 25, 2008
    A Customer from Tillamook, Oregon
First off 4 pre-installed case fans give hit awesome air flow to get rid of heat fast (just like it claims). What I didn't know was some 900s had reports of defective fans which made me freak out after buying. However I opened the box to find a letter saying we can't recall and fix the problem so we've given you 3 EXTRA FANS to do whatever with. All my case fans work fine and...did I mention there are 2 extra spots for case fans. So now I have 5 fans running on full and my 8800 GT Superclocked idles at 39Cs (70% GPU Fan Speed *EVGA Precision*) and gets up to 51-54Cs (100% GPU Fan Speed) while playing graphically intense games maxed out. This baby gets rid of heat and keeps everything cool. And Antec is great with customer service and I think the whole case fan scenario proves that. *Gaming Rig* - Antec 900, XFX 680i LT SLI, Q6600, Arctic Cooling Freezer 7, GeIL 2GB DDR2 800 Dual Channel, EVGA 8800GT Superclocked Edition, Antec Neo HE 550W, Seagate Barracuda 320GB 7200RPM, *Peripherals* - Phillips 107T6 CRT, Microsoft Wireless Keyboard, iCEMAT 2nd Edition Mouse Pad, Razer DeathAdder optical mouse, eDimensional AudioFX 5+1 Gaming Headphones

    5 of 5 Great case Tuesday, June 10, 2008
    Joe from Northville, MI
The case is roomy, has a pretty good cable management system, and is pretty easy to work with. You'll have to take extra time to keep things organized inside and I recommend running excess wires behind the motherboard panel. You could drill holes and zip-tie them or be lazy like me and use painter's tape. It runs pretty quiet, even after I added a 120mm fan to the door. It isn't quite as easy to work with as the P182(hard drive cage held with eight screws) but very configurable and well designed. Highly recommended.

    5 of 5 Excellent Buy Sunday, June 08, 2008
    RaheelPak from Miami, FL
This is a solid case with lots of room inside. This was my first ever built and it was easy even without any instuctions. Mine came with four fans built into the case plus three extras fans so total it came with seven fans. Buy.com had the best price and of course free shipping was a bonus for this giant case. Power supply was mounted at the bottom so therefore my cpu connector couldn't reach the motherboard as a result I had to buy an extension but not a big deal.

5 of 5 I SPEND HOURS JUST STARING AT MY CASE Saturday, June 07, 2008
    eastcoastazn718 from Flushing,NY
Hi, so you're shopping for a new computer case i see. Well personally i think this looks sexy! Its all black (and you know black goes along with everything),rectangular shaped (not like the funny looking, cartoonish alien cases),comes with 5 fans with blue led lighting and one "big boy" fan on the top that totals out to be 6 fans in all (you can individually set the speed of each fan and Antec gave me extra fans in case if any fans came "dead on arrival"),the instruction manual was very helpful with how to remove and install things into the drive bays, the window on the side is big (the fan in the window doesn't touch the power supply on the bottom of the case and the graphic cards and blow air into the case really strong which is a good thing). This case, the Antec 900, is a "Black Beauty". Today i ordered two neon tubes from newegg.com that i plan to stick into my case and light the insides all up and make my case look even more "sexy!". Shipping came on time from FedEx. Also for those of you that are custom buidling your computer and have all the parts and the case hasn't arrived or you just don't have any more money left and think you can do without a case. Don't try it! Don't hook everything up with a monitor and think you can turn on your computer without a case. The case isn't just to hold things inside and look cool outside. Also i found this same exact model but with "green" led lights on nvidia.com for $159 and no discount just because it had a nvidia tag on it at the top of the case. I first liked the case since i saw it there but when i found it for close to $50-$60 less at buy.com i said to myself, "oh yea! i'm getting this." Blue looks good and the price looks even better. Also take advantage of signing up to the buy.com visa card and knock off another $30 off the total. I got my case for about $70 because of this promo.

    4 of 5 Great Case Monday, May 19, 2008
    A Customer from Utah
Timely delivery, great case, lots of fans to keep your system cool. Perhaps a little louder than other cases, but I have 5 fans running on it, not including heatsink fans, or power supply fan. This is why I ranked the overall satisfaction at 4, otherwise 5 across the board, great case!

    5 of 5 Amazing Case!!! Monday, May 12, 2008
    A Customer from Galesburg, IL
I ordered this case late on a Tuesday night and recieved it Thursday morning! All my computer components fit in it very nicely, and the slots for hard drives and CD/DVD drives come out so you don't have to worry about trying to get them in without hitting anything else, which made things much easier! The best thing about this case is its cooling ability! My system temperature ranges from 21-23 Celcius and all the fans in the case are only on medium! I couldn't get that temperature with my old case when I cracked it open and put a house fan in it! Not having to worry about any heat issues while gaming is a great feeling! I would recomend this case to anyone and everyone, the price is abosutely amazing! Other cases of the same qualtiy are often closer to $200!

this is a sick case. plenty of room. amazing airflow. 2 issues for me: (1) the front panel wires need to be longer, there is little slack left when connecting to their headers, rigidity makes cable management more difficult, and (2) the fans have manual controls instead of plugging into fan headers on the mobo, so can't control fans via software--puzzling. despite these 2 minor issues, i would recommend this case. it rocks.

    5 of 5 Great Case Friday, April 18, 2008
    Musty from Mobile, AL
It does what it should, and very well. But it is the little extras that put it over the edge to greatness. Each front fan is mounted in a drive bay for 3 drives. Each bay is held in place by thumb screws for ease of removal. They can also be rearranged, separating the three 5-1/4 bays, if you need. Slot covers in the back are also vents. I have all of my fans on max and it makes less noise than my old case. The only thing that I miss is the latch system my old Antec case had. The 900 uses thumb screws.

5 of 5 Love this case Sunday, March 30, 2008
    pettine from Tower, Minnesota
This is my second Antec 900. Bought one to build a PC for my wife and I liked it so much that I bought another for my next build. Lots of space, good air flow, and good looking to boot. For 70 bucks with rebate you can't go wrong with this case.

5 of 5 Extreme Gamer Case Sunday, March 30, 2008
    Doughboi80 from Sacramento CA
If you are looking for a gaming case this case is truly one you should consider. The air flow is amazing with the three 120 mm fans and the 200 mm exhaust fan on top, all with speed control. The trays slide right out so that you can install your hard drives. Their are also slots for additional 120mm fan units on the side panel and also one of the 3.5in drive bay units. The case is very big and can fit any video card or heatsink additions. Also their are a couple of ports for water cooling if you want. My stock q6600 system runs consistently at around 23-25 degrees Celsius and cpu runs at around 19-30 degrees Celsius, running idle to full load also with a Cooler Master Hyper TX2 heatsink. This case is built to OVERCLOCK with the airflow. I can easily overclock and maintain a very low core temperature. I want to emphasize how much I LOVE the control panel on top. It is extremely convenient to have access to the power and reset button on top. It also is nice to have the audio, mic, and USB ports all right on top as well. The tray on top is also convenient to put an IPod or Zune when they are plugged in. My only real complaint is the speed control for the fans. I wish they had centralized the fan speed control in one area. The way the case is set up, you must open the case, and adjust each fan individually, because the speed control only extends 2-3 inches from the actual fan itself. As far as the price, at $105 it is a decent price for what you are getting. All the fans are well worth it. I personally purchased my case for $60 (barring I receive my Rebate). I hope this review helps and I do RECOMMEND this case to any type of PC Builder.

    5 of 5 Best Antec Case I've bought Sunday, March 30, 2008
    A Customer from Orlando, FL
I've always bought Antec cases. When buying a case I'm concerned with the room I have to work with inside. This like all the other antec cases I've bought have a lot of room to work inside of. The over all style is really unique. I'm not a gamer but I was impressed with how the case was designed for cooling. When my quad core comes in, this case will be very beneficial for the over clocking that will be done.

    5 of 5 Great case Sunday, March 30, 2008
    Sten from DFW, TX
This case is a joy to work on, but let's discuss features. There are so many fan configurations that the weatherman might get confused as to which way the wind is coming from. Liquid cooling is an option as holes for tubing are already installed. Side panel is clear, with another fan option there too. The front panel is simple and not overly complicated. The power supply mounts on the bottom, so it doesn't feel top-heavy when you lift it. This case was well designed giving the user multiple options for configurations of fans and hard drives. If you plan on over clocking your system, the fan options on this case makes it extremely easy. Hard drive mounts have a rubber or plastic holder that keeps vibrations and noise from the hard drive to a minimum. The price was excellent when paired with the rebate. This case has more options than I would really use, making it a great case overall for the masses. Did I mention the integrated accessory holder on top? There is a holder on top to put your cellphone or USB device on top that comes with a rubber insert to keep it from sliding around. DO NOT get it confused with a cup holder.

    5 of 5 What a case! Friday, March 14, 2008
    PatrickF from Houston, TX
What a case. Finally a case that has it all. Plenty of cooling. Lots of drive bays. And hookups for external USB and audio that have the correct connectors to go right onto the motherboard. Plus holes to run lines if you want watercooling. Even has a tray to put my IPOD and camera when synching them. I though my last case was nice. This one puts it to shame. And with rebate cheaper than a basic case. A+ Antec and thanks for the deal buy.com

5 of 5 Antec 900, best performance gamer case Monday, March 10, 2008
    A Customer from Denton, TX
This case is definitely for the gamer who wants to be able to keep their high performance gaming equipment at a nice cool level. The case is somewhat on the large side, but it seems to lend to it's circulation ability with the four large fans that come standard with the case. It's definitely not quiet, but the fans have a smooth sound to them, so the noise is by no means annoying. You do have to remove the compartments for 3.5" drives and mount them inside, then replace the compartments, which doesn't make for extremely easy assembly. However, it was fairly easy to figure out, and if not for some, then the instructions are very clear. The adjustable speed on the fans is a nice touch... lower speeds for everyday use, Maximum for when you want to overclock for that LAN party! My Mobo ran at 50 degrees C (ouch!), but now at a nice 27C. Processor never gets above 33C, even when overclocking 120%! Plain and simple, the case cools, and has a decent aesthetic quality to it. Definitely worth the buy!

    5 of 5 best case Tuesday, February 26, 2008
    A Customer from wichita, ks
This is the best air cooled case you can get! Its not horribly loud for all the fans in it, yet temps in this thing will never be a problem, between this case, and a thermaltake v1 cpu cooler ive yet to see my cpu get above 30C even under a heavy load!

    5 of 5 Antec 900 computer case Wednesday, February 20, 2008
    Jesse from Biddeford ME.
This is a sick case. I read many reviews on the 900 before I bought it. One guy cut holes in it to rout cables. Another said it took him three hours to build. I don't know what his skill level was, but it took me much less time, and I am not a computer expert. Many complain about the noise, however I don't notice much of a difference. With all the fans on maximum I can rest assured my computer will be as cool as is possible with out a water cooler. I built the last three computers I have owned, so I have some experience, as such I did not even open the instruction booklet. I purchased mine for under $100. BTW they fixed the DVI issue. I strongly recommend this case to any power user out there.

    5 of 5 Solid Case Monday, February 18, 2008
    Greg from Green Bay, WI
This case looks sharp and will keep your computer cool with its 3 120mm fans and one huge 200mm fan. With the power supply positioned at the bottom of the case you are going to want to make sure that your power cables have the length to reach the motherboard. Cable management can be a challenge for the super picky due to all the fans molex connectors. If you have a motherboard that can control fan speed I would consider getting replacements for the 120mm fans.

5 of 5 Very nice case Sunday, February 10, 2008
    Stan from Bayville, NJ
Used this in my first new build and all went together well without issue. Have fans on low setting and you can hardly hear them. Not overclocking so this is fine. Nice lights too. The only things you should be aware of that I didn't know til I put it together is there is no internal speaker to hear your "post beep". Not needed but I like to hear it so picked one up at a local computer store for $5.00. Also has no power led to hook up to your motherboard because it has led's on the fans.

5 of 5 The perfect Case Wednesday, September 12, 2007
    A Customer from Freakville, Florida
For an air cooled system, there is no better a case. Excellent air flow with a MASSIVE 200mm fan on top. Some complain about cable management with this case, BUT, with a little work, that too is no problem. That being said, this is a great case for modding. I added several custom mods to mine love showing it off. Buy it, enjoy it.
