He designed the Morimoto restaurant in Philadelphia , Semiramishotel in Athens and Nooch in NYC. Presently he is working in 23 countries. Hehas won numerous awards and his work is in the permanent collection of 14Museums including MoMA and SFMoMA . In 2006 Karim received Honorary Doctoratesfrom the Ontario College of Art and Design and Corcoran College . He exhibitsart at Sandra Gering and Deitch Projects in New York . Karim has just publishedhis guide to living "Design Your Self' from Regan Books, 'Digipop' a digitalexploration of computer graphics (Taschen 2005), a portfolio book published byChronicle books (2004), as well two monographs titled 'Evolution' (Universe,2004) and 'I Want to Change the World'(Rizzoli, 2001). He edited theInternational Design Yearbook 18 for Calmann and King 2003 and released two CD'savailable on Seattle boutique label, Neverstop.
