Can't be the price/performance. Pretty quiet too. Just re-labeled Western Digital drives.

Pros: great product, great price, and a 3 year warranty. Once I figured out how to install it, it was quiet. The drive is made by Western Digital. I utilized their FAQ/Knowledge base artical "How to install, partition, and format a Serial ATA drive in Windows Vista" (answer ID # 1499). It was a very simple procedure once I found the proper article. However, not being the sharpest tack in the box when it comes to computers, I would not have thought of this had it not been for the review by jdmmba from Mesa, AZ of the 500 gb drive by Cavalry. Thanks!
Cons: although it is sold as 750 gb, Vista says its 698 gb. A Vista version of Data Lifeguard Tools may help that.
