5 of 5 Very good product Tuesday, April 07, 2009 Alan from White Plains, NY
Very useful hub. I use it with an external HDD, 2 usb memory sticks, printer, mouse, CardScan scanner and my blackberry all at the same time and it works perfectly with my laptop. When it arrived, I mistakenly thought the power supply did not work because the led didn't light. Eforcity sent a replacement unit immediately, so I give them 5 stars overall. 1 of 1 customers found this review helpful. 5 of 5 Works fine Sunday, March 15, 2009 Rick from Paradise, CA
I bought this to use while traveling and teaching as the Verizon internet card I have blocks both of the USB ports on my HP laptop. I was worried that the power cord for this would be required but the hub is self powered for things like flash drives and the Verizon card. I bought it because it has a stand, which helps with the Verizon card. Worked out great. Since I'm not using the power cord its short length is not an issue. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Great item but....... Monday, March 02, 2009 Janice from Van, TX
This is a great item! Only problem with it is that it could use longer cords to both the a/c and to connect it to pc. The whole reason I bought it was to have desktop access to my usb connections on my pc but the cords don't reach far enough with the way my desk is built. There is no option that I know of to buy longer cords for it. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Works Great with E Machine computer Friday, February 27, 2009 Bertjr1 from Seal Beach, California
I bought this on sale not really knowing how it would work for me, well was I pleasently surprised when I hooked it up to my inexpensive tower to find it could handle everything I needed it to do. Was this review helpful?
1 of 5 Unreliable Friday, February 27, 2009 Dick from Snowy Northern Michigan
My hub looses connection after an hour or two and I get the message "USB Device not Recognized". I bought this to accommodate my second printer and a backup hard drive. It flakes out with only a 512mb flash drive connected. I emailed Eforcity asking for a refund or replacement. Jessie replied that this product shouldn't be used with printers or hard drives and offered no solution to my problem. I thought the reason for an ac powered hub was to accommodate more devices. 5 of 5 Works well with MacBook Saturday, February 21, 2009 A Customer from Oakland, ca
This USB port works well - powers a keyboard and mouse while allowing me to access my USB 2.0 hard drives all powered by the USB bus from my Macbook. I've had problems with other inexpensive hubs, so I was glad to get this one. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Recommended Saturday, February 21, 2009 Happy customer from Edison, NJ
For under $10 (on sale), it is a steal. It is much smaller size than I have expected. Half size and less than half price of the DLink 7 ports hub I have. Works fine. Recommended. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Eforcity 7 port hub - Works great Saturday, February 21, 2009 Jeff from Asheville, NC
Looks like we are all in agreement, for the most part. This 7 port hub works great. The power supply is obviously giving it the ability to have several live connections at once. Very small foot print, yet stable on the desktop. It is a little light-weight but some velcro on the base or even on the side of the hub so you could stick it on the side of the monitor would work. Very pleased with this purchase. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Top notch unit Tuesday, February 10, 2009 A Customer from Alvaton, KY
This hub is great, with ports on the front and back! I was trying to power a pocket drive and a WinTV module off the computer with no luck. This unit does both, plus a memory stick and a photo camera. They all coexist with no problems. I also think the hub looks really sharp on the desk. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Works great! Saves space! Monday, February 09, 2009 A Customer from Lubbock TX
At last I found a good HUB that works as advertised. It is small and compact, so it does not eat desk space. I am a happy customer. Plus there was a reasonable price and very fast shipping. imagehound from Texas Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Great value and product - recommend Saturday, January 24, 2009 Clay from Haymarket, VA
There were so many to USB hubs to choose from I guessed when I bought this one. It seemed to cheap to be good but I guessed well. It is a great buy. I tested it with a stack of USB thumb drives. The included USB to computer cable could be a little longer but at least it was included. I am very happy with its compact size, port spacings, construction, and function. The stand is even stable. The 2 rear ports are nice for permanant connections like a printer or scanner that you don't want laying on your desk. Was this review helpful?

4 of 5 Good Value Wednesday, January 21, 2009 Dean from Lansing, MI
I have all the usb ports in use already and it works very well. I liked it enough that I bought 1 for my wife as well. I wish the cord connecting it to my computer was longer. I had to use an extension usb cord. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Time Saver Wednesday, January 21, 2009 Richard from Southern California
My computer sits under my desk, using one of the USB ports was a pain. Why I waited so long to order a USB hub like this I will never know. This is a great time saver for me. If you struggle to use your USB ports you will love this product. It is quick to set up and easy to use. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 7 port USB hub review Wednesday, January 21, 2009 Bob from Willow Grove, PA
The device worked without a problem. The alignment of the case to the USB slots could be better but I was able to get my USB devices into all of the available slots. Was this review helpful?

4 of 5 Nice form factor Monday, December 22, 2008 levh from Phila PA
Overall, this usb hub seems to be working well. Unfortunately, the cable of the power supply is just a little too short, so I haven't been able to plug it in and I have been using it without plugging it in. Nonetheless, the hub has worked for everything I've used it for (plug in iPod, iPhone, external hard drive, etc.) Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Could not be happier! Saturday, December 20, 2008 A Customer from Loudoun Co., Virginia
I purchased this hub after my last one (made by Phillips) died on me after only a couple of months. I could not be happier with my purchase. It was extremely affordable and is a very solid unit. I really love the design: the hub is small and will accommodate each USB cable with no problem. I have Vista and there were no installation problems. For under 10 bucks, you can't go wrong. You get the hub AND power cord. I paid more for my Phillips hub and it didn't even come with an adapter! This is my first Eforcity purchase and definately won't be the last. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Powered Hub Saturday, December 13, 2008 Mike from Easter, VA
Works great in my MSI motherboard. Just make sure the power supply in plugged otherwise high drain peripherals will cause computer to hang on booting. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 A real bargain Tuesday, November 11, 2008 diverse from Kamiah, Idaho
A real bargain! I had external speakers, mic, keyboard and mouse all drawing power from my Dell Inspiron 6400 laptop USB ports. This powered hub runs them all just fine and takes the load off my laptop. I did find by trial and error that for best performance there is one particular USB slot on the Dell that handles the hub best. It appears to be the first slot in the USB device list.
This is my second hub. The first hub that I received showed a red light on the hub when powered and re-booted my computer when plugged in to a USB port. I notified eforcity support of the reboot by replying to the shipping confirmation email. Support replied to me the same day and shipped me a new hub the following day. Now thats good support! The indicator light on this second hub is green and it functions just fine.
If I had to find one thing that could be improved it is that the electrical cord should be a foot or two longer. But, a good feature is that the hub comes complete with the USB cable.

5 of 5 Great product for the price Thursday, October 30, 2008 Ernest from Seguin, TX
I purchased this usb hub to replace another model which I had just recently bought online. The previous model had a real thin, cheap-looking cable. It didn't put out enough power to power an external mini-drive. With this seven-port hub there were no problems. It looked well made, has a small footprint, the cable is thick and of high quality. No complaints so far. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Best Purchase For the $$$$ Monday, September 29, 2008 Annabelle Havlicek from Milwaukee
I really needed this. I have an iMac and it has a total of 2 USB ports. One is always occupied with my keyboard, the other with my printer. That leaves a total of zero for my jump drive, digital camera, shuffle dock and anything else. The IT tech at work suggested I purchase a Hub and specifically said to get one with an AC adapter. I flew to Buy.com and started looking. This one was so reasonable and was exactly what I wanted. It came so quickly, it was so easy to use and was exactly what I wanted. I took it home, plugged it in and I've been using it ever since. It was perfect for me. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Beyond Expectation Monday, June 02, 2008 stoneman57 from Longview, WA
This Eforcity 7 Port LED USB 2.0 hub is a very good product. It comes with a USB cable, which is rare these days, as well as an AC adapter. Being a powered USB hub, it is more than just an extension for use with things like USB memory sticks. This powered USB hub easily handles four of my 500GB external hard drives, as well as my USB headphone/mic set and my iPod connection.
<p />
A powered USB hub is crucial if you are connecting an external drive, camera, mouse, keyboard, or any other peripheral that puts strain on the USB connection. Like a signal booster allows you to use a cell phone in an area where the signal has become weak, this Eforcity powered 7 port LED USB 2.0 hub makes it possible to connect not just two or three, but <b>SEVEN</b> separate USB peripherals to your computer (Mac or PC) with virtually the same strong USB connection as a direct connection to your computer. Besides my Time Machine, this Eforcity 7 port LED USB 2.0 hub is the best peripheral purchase that I have made for my new iMac! Definitely money well spent. Was this review helpful?
