As another reviewer mentioned the hub works great. The only two drawbacks are the short usb/power cord and the ridiculous looking lights. If they indicated which ports were being used, I could see the utility, but they light up all the time, and they are BRIGHT! They are bright blue, red, green, and yellow. If you don't mind the lights, this is a great hub. Was this review helpful?

Works as advertised and the included AC adapter provides the necessary, additional current required to route the output of my MagicJack throughout my home. I don't care for the multi-colored LED's, but don't mind them either. If they become a problem, it's nothing that a little strategically-placed black electrical tape can't take care of. It works well but the USB and power cables are VERY short. Luckily I already had a USB extension cable otherwise I would have had to go out to buy one - they cost about as much as the hub does. I'm not impressed with all of the flashing lights either. It does work well though... Was this review helpful?

This 7 port USB hub works great. If there is any issue it is the power and connection plugs. They are on ne end of the unit, while all the UB plugs ar on the dies. This means the unit does not sit cleanly, it has plugs on 3 sides. Works great though. Was this review helpful?

I have used it for over 2 weeks now and have not had any issues. Had my Canon digital camera plugged in. My motorola cell charging through it, etc. No issues with transferring data. No problems whatsoever. Was this review helpful?

Got the product within 5 days of ordering.
Connected to computer, got all the pretty lights, like Xms...
But unit was not recognized by computer. Tried on 2 additional computers - NG... So I Emailed a complaint to Eforcity & got a fast
response (less than 24 hours) appologizing for the non functioning product & saying they are sending another. They did
& this one workes like it should. Any & all devices connected through the hub work with no noticeable decrease in speed.
I am happy with the product & with customer service fast response about the bad unit. It works very well also without the supplied power supply. Was this review helpful?

This is a great little basic powered USB 2.0 hub. I bought one for $25 from another vendor (with all-blue lights), and it was well worth it, but I've bought several more from Buy for < $10.
Functionality is great - everything works, and speeds are what I expect for USB 2.0.
Be aware that this unit has different colored LED lights for each port, which are on whenever the power is on and serve no purpose other than looking either pretty or gaudy, depending on your taste. For office settings, I've simply removed the LEDs (10 minutes with a soldering iron). Was this review helpful?

I bought this USB hub to convert my girlfriend's old desktop, which had only one USB port on the back, to a home network server. I needed a USB hub to connect a printer, a mouse, and an external hard drive. It works as expected even without an external power supply, which is included in the package. Every port has a different color LED, which is kind of fun and serves as a little night light. Was this review helpful?

Just plugged this hub in. Plugged in all my devices and everything worked perfectly. I don't notice any difference in speed going through this hub or directly to my machine. What more to say, get a great price on this and be happy. It lights up with many color led's when you plug it in, but I have it on the floor behind my tower so I don't get bothered by all the lights.
