DURATION: Limited Lifetime, for as long as the original Customer owns the product or for 5 years after product discontinuance, whichever occurs first (not transferable to a subsequent end user). FOR NON-US CUSTOMERS: Where a limited lifetime warranty is not permitted by local law, a 10 year warranty period shall be given by 3Com. The duration of this warranty shall be modified where necessary to meet any minimum warranty period required by law.
3Com's sole obligation under this express warranty shall be, at 3Com's option and expense, to repair the defective product or part, deliver to Customer an equivalent product or part to replace the defective item, or if neither of the two foregoing options is reasonably available, refund to Customer the purchase price paid for the defective product. All products that are replaced will become the property of 3Com.
