Worked out of the box and has no performance issues. It's the first thing I have bought in a while that came with absolutely no instructions, but it only took a minute to figure out how to open the case and setting it up was intuitive. Had some extra parts that I haven't figured out the purpose for, but it's working fine and the price was great. Was this review helpful?

I bought this to replace one that I bought previously at a national chain by a national brand. That one was crap and it would crash every time I tried to access it or write to it.
This one was less money, simple to install the hard drive into and so far works perfectly. It comes with backup front and rear faceplates. It supports IDE drives up to 500GB and has not crashed yet. It works so well that I bought a second one for my other drive. I couldn't have got this for less at retail without going to a computer show. Reliable and well worth the money! This HDD enclosure is pretty descent for the money. It works well, with a Seagate 500gb IDE drive. The power adapter is a bit flimsy. All in all, for the money that this costs, this is not a bad enclosure. I may purchase another one, to put another old IDE drive that I have into it.

I was a little skeptical seeing a cheap enclosure, but boy was I wrong! The enclosure works perfectly, and is even recognized by my PS3! I recommend this product to anyone with a spare 3.5inch! Was this review helpful?

Very easy to work with, and pretty stable for an IDE hard drive. works well and is pretty compact with hard drive activity light.

This case is very easy to put together. However I caution anyone planning to use this enclosure and the hard drive you put in it. You don't screw the hard drive down to the case, so be careful if you use it on the go. Was this review helpful?
