We have a wood stove, so it really dries the air out in the house. Have to fill the humidifier every other day or so. Has made a big difference in our comfort and I've even noticed our hardwood floors aren't as contracted as they usually are during the winter. The unit is rather noisy with the fan on high speed, but on low speed it is not obtrusive. Was this review helpful?
