The idea pushed in advertisements was a barrier of language, causing communication problems for the couple who need medical attention after that run in with the bullet, among others. The idea seemed to be that no matter who we are, there is somewhere in the world we don't fit in because of language. It's an interesting theme and ties in nicely with the film's title.
