Vaughn is never off, and Aniston always fits into her role as the adorable girlfriend/wife. What theyre given here is nothing more than a long-winded fight that plays out in such a miserable fashion, its impossible to pick out the jokes.

Despite the name, the gym caters not to ordinary people but to a handful of rejects who simply won’t fit in anywhere else. But Joe’s is not all paradise and glamour; failure to collect membership dues or perform any of the other duties normally associated with running a business has put the gym in serious fiscal jeopardy. Now Peter must raise fifty grand to avoid losing Average Joe’s to his evil arch-rival, White Goodman (Ben Stiller). With the fitness goals of six abject losers hanging in the balance, the patrons of Average Joe’s form a dodgeball team in a last-ditch effort to save their gym. read the full review

One scene will stay with me for the next six Christmases. Vince Vaughn, playing Santa Claus' dishonest brother Fred, attends a support group for second-banana siblings. Frank Stallone is there, sheepishly admitting that his faith in brother Sylvester faded with each new Rocky movie. Roger Clinton explains how difficult it was being "the First Brother." Fred tries to get a word in edgewise but ends up shouting at Stephen Baldwin (who is great, though we also would have accepted Daniel or Billy in the part). read the full review
