Rebate Tips

Read your rebate form thoroughly!

Each rebate offer is unique with different start and end dates and postmark date requirements. Follow the directions carefully, incomplete or incorrect forms will be denied by the manufacturer.

Make copies of all your paperwork!
This includes your rebate form, receipt, UPC code, and any other requirements listed on the form. If you do not make copies the manufacturer will not be able to help if any issues arise.

Make sure your name and address are clearly written on the rebate form!
If your handwriting is difficult to read this may slow down the submission process or cause the rebate to be rejected.

If you placed your order through your Buy.com account, please visit https://ssl.buy.com/AC/Account/RedirectMaster.aspx. Log in to your account, click on the order that contains the rebate item, and then click on the 'View Receipt' link at the bottom of the page.

If you used Guest or Google Checkout, please visit https://ssl.buy.com/AC/MyAccount.aspx. You will be asked to provide your Buy.com order number, the billing last name and the billing phone number. Make sure not to use hyphens in the phone number field. You will be taken to your Order summary page where you will find a "View Receipt" link on the bottom right. Please use this receipt for rebate redemption.

2. Where do I find the Rebate Form that was valid on the day of my purchase?

3. What is a postmark date?
The postmark date is the date the Post Office stamps your envelope. You cannot qualify for a promotion if you do not mail your rebate by the postmark date specified on the rebate coupon or on the rebate website.
 
4. The product I want to purchase is on back order, how will this affect the rebate?
The terms and conditions for mail in rebates are very specific and when items are in Back Order status they generally do not qualify for the rebate. Unfortunately because we do not know when the product will ship, we cannot guarantee the rebate.
 
5. Can I check the status of my rebate online?
Each manufacturer has different ways to track your rebate submission. Please follow the instruction listed on your rebate form for tracking your rebate. If your rebate form does not include this information, please contact Customer Support at support@customerservice.buy.com. If you do not have a copy of your rebate form, please refer to question 2.
 
6. How long does a rebate take to process?
Each manufacturer has different processing times for rebate submissions; you can locate the processing time of your submission by checking the Terms and Conditions on your rebate form. If you do not have a copy of your rebate form, please refer to question 2.
 
7. I got a postcard or email indicating my rebate was denied, what do I do?
If your rebate was denied, you will need to contact the rebate center that processed your submission. Unfortunately Buy.com does not have access to manufacturer approvals or denials. If you have problems getting in touch with the rebate center, you will need to contact the manufacturer directly.
