You can choose to pay for your Buy.com purchase using your Google account instead of your credit card or check or other method of payment. Why doesn't my Google receipt amount match my Buy.com receipt amount?

If Google runs a promotion, for example- $10 off of a purchase of $30 or more, the discount is offered solely by Google for using that checkout method. Therefore, only the GoogleCheckout receipt reflects your discount.

Any promotion, coupon, or other discount offered solely by Buy.com will reflect on your Buy.com receipt.

We apologize if this appears to be a discrepancy and causes any confusion. Since Google charges your credit card, we ask that you visit http://checkout.google.com/support if you have any questions on the final price you have paid for an item using Google Checkout.

My Account

You will be emailed a receipt for your Google orders just like orders made with other methods of payment. However, any Google Checkout order is a Guest Checkout order and you will not be able to see it by logging in to your regular MyAccount. You will have to log into your one-time guest checkout order to see order details.

How can I look up my GoogleCheckout order?

Note: GoogleCheckout orders will not reflect in your Buy.com MyAccount Order History. This is because you do not "Log In" to your MyAccount prior to checkout when GoogleCheckout is used.

Please follow the following steps to review your GoogleCheckout order:

Step 1. Go to https://ssl.buy.com/AC/Account/RedirectMaster.aspx.

Step 2. Once on the above web page, please click the ORDER LOOKUP button to the right of the page.

Step 3. Please fill in the fields for your Order Number, Billing Last Name, and Billing Phone Number. For your convenience, you may enter the Buy.com Order Number or your GoogleCheckout Order Number.

Step 4. After the above information has been entered, click the Find Order button.

You should now be on the Order Summary page for your GoogleCheckout order. From here, you can view a copy of your receipt, track your item, or even return the item if your order qualifies. Please see the Buy.com Return Policy for return details.

What Can I Buy Using Google Checkout?

You can purchase most things offered at Buy.com, but because of the unique nature of a Google Checkout purchase, there are some restrictions: Google Checkout is incompatible with the following:

Clearance items
Magazines
Music Downloads
Warranties
Cell Phones (Unlocked phones are OK)
Pre-Order items
Out of stock items or items that will come into stock in future

Special Promotions

Why can't I checkout using GoogleCheckout?

If you are having difficulties placing an order using the GoogleCheckout method, it may be due to one of the above items being placed in your basket.

Can I request a Price Match if I used GoogleCheckout?

Yes, but only if you have not participated in a Google discount promotion.

Rules Unique to Google Purchases

Because of the unique nature of Google purchases, some standard Buy.com rules are a little different if you pay using Google Checkout.

• If you make a purchase using Google Checkout, your account is charged before your product is shipped.
• When you make a purchase using Google Checkout, you are re-routed to the Google Checkout web site during our checkout procedure via encrypted secure connection. You will actually complete your purchase there and you will not be returned to the Buy.com website.
• You must complete your transaction at the Google Checkout website.
• You will receive a receipt number from Google. Google will then notify us automatically that the order has been completed. Buy.com will then send you your Buy.com order number by email.
• When contacting Google Checkout customer service, please reference your Google order number.
• When contacting Buy.com customer service, please reference your Buy.com order number.
• Because of the unique nature of Google Checkout, you cannot split your method of payment between Google Checkout and any other method of payment.
• Google orders do not work with gift certificates. You can either pay with Google Checkout or you can use your gift certificate with some other method of payment.
