How do I register for the Buy.com Marketplace?
The Marketplace Registration Process will take the seller through a series of web pages. Each page will call for certain information needed to tell the Marketplace about the Seller and provide important information regarding payment. |
Why is the Marketplace Registration asking for Bank Information?
When you decide to join the Buy.com Marketplace, you are joining a security conscious company; therefore Buy.com will only make payments to sellers via Electronics Funds Transfer. This is a requirement for all sellers on the Buy.com Marketplace. |
Why must the Seller provide Tax Info as part of the registration process?
Buy.com wants to be as thorough as possible when adding a seller. The "Tax Info" provides added confidence in identifying the Seller as a legitimate business. This not only helps ensure quality sellers, but also protects our customers. |
Why is the Marketplace Registration asking for Business Information when I already submitted by address, phone number, etc.?
Many sellers have a business location and contact information that are totally separate from their personal information, we can not assume that this information is the same and we ask for location and contact information again. |
I completed the registration process for the Buy.com Marketplace, but I do not see any link connecting to my Marketplace account. What is that?
As mentioned, simply filling out the registration form does not guarantee that you will be approved as a Buy.com marketplace merchant. Once you have completed the registration process, Buy.com's Marketplace team further evaluates your online application. This process can take between 3-5 days before you are informed of approval. |
How will I know if I have been accepted to the Buy.com Marketplace?
The Marketplace Team will contact you once they have fully evaluated your registration. If accepted to sell you will also have the ability to access your Seller Account section within the My Account section of the Buy.com site. |
