You know things are bad when video games have to be used to help get people jobs and stave off the unemployment that plagues current day society. Thats exactly whats happening with the new program by Activision Blizzard. The company announced that the new Call of Duty Endowment program is underway to help veterans find jobs and get back on their feet.

The new content coming to Japan in Resident Evil 5: Alternate Edition will be released here in North America and Europe as well. Western gamers won't need to head out to stores to get it, though.

The Spider-Man 4 rumors are flying faster than ever right now, as the spring start date grows closer and Sam Raimi, presumably, is somewhere finishing up the script and getting ready to cast some villains. The first downloadable content for shooter RPG Borderlands is but a couple weeks away. According to a press release sent out this morning, it will be released on November 24th.
1UP notes that that only the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions are mentioned in the press release. Totem lovers, your day has come. Today Blizzard revealed the Tier 10 armor for the Shaman class in World of Warcraft. It's the last set of Tier 10 to be revealed.
The shaman armor's arguably the best-looking out of the bunch, too. It basically looks like a frosted animal skeleton. The neat little animal head ghosts floating over the shoulderpads are a nice touch.
All ten sets of Tier 10 armor will be added in Patch 3.3. The patch also adds a new dungeon called Icecrown Citadel.

The toolset (available here by registered owners) allows you to create your own adventures and fill them with custom characters, items, and even cut scenes. Netflix and Sony announced that the Sony PS3 gets Netflix enabled. Netflix streaming is very nice to have and was before already available on the Xbox 360. Now the PS3 has it too.
To run the Netflix streaming you need a disc Netflix is sending out when you request one.

Ubisoft released another trailer for Avatar: The Game this morning. It's called "Ignite The War" and explores the err, aggressive negotiations taking place between the Na'vi and the human military forces attempting to take over their home planet of Pandora.

Capcom's final trailer before the actual launch of Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles has surfaced and it gives gamers a glimpse at a few new characters, enemies and bosses. New playable characters Javier and Manuela also make a drop-in appearance in this kick-butt montage of cinematics and gameplay.
Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles nearly follows through the entire Resident Evil story, including scenarios and missions that were only briefly referenced in prior RE games.
